Difference Between Bali and Temanggung

          Bali and Temanggung are two cities that has tropical climate. Most of the population livelihood is as farmer. The people who live in these cities have the same polite and friendly attitude. Although there are several similarities between Bali and Temanggung, there are several obvious differences between them.

            First, the climate temperature climate in Bali is different from Temanggung. Bali prove that the climate is not too hot. The air temperature is varied between 24ᵒ C – 30ᵒ C. In contrast, Temanggung climate is cold. It is because this city region is surrounded by mountains. The averages annual temperature in Temanggung is 22ᵒ C. The rainfall in Temanggung is higher than Bali.

            Second, there is a big disparity between Bali and Temanggung scenery. Bali is a famous tourism island that has many beautiful beach such Kuta, Legian, Sanur, Dreamland, Pandawa, etc. These beach are so beautiful, ttourist can enjoy beautiful sight like sunrise and sunset, tourist also can try to surfing, snorkelling, and try an extreme watersport in some beach. Bali also have Bedugul, Batur and Kintamani lake that has each beautiful scenery. And there are so many more tourism destination in Bali that must be visited. Unlike Bali, Temanggung scenery is pure naturally with mountains around this city. Temanggung has a few tourism destination. The most famous tourism destination in Temanggung is Posong. It is a natural scenery to see sunrise and enjoy fresh air. Posong  located on 1853 miles above sea level. In Temanggung you can see mountain range start from Sindoro Mt, Sumbing Mt, Merapi Mt, Merbabu Mt, Andong Mt, Telomoyo Mt, Muria Mt, and Ungaran Mt.

            Final, the obvious difference between Bali and Temanggung is cultureal and activities in dialy live. Most people in Bali is Hindu, every morning they do a ritual which put offerings in front of their house. People of Bali are friendly and peaceful. There is a caste to classify people from their race and ancestry. Otherwise, most of people in Temanggung are Moslem, so they don’t doing ritual like Balinese. Most people in Temanggung are farmer. Different from Bali which farming a lot of plants. Temanggung farmers just farming rice plant, tobacco and vegetables. Temanggung don’t know caste because in Moslem all people are same, what makes them different is come from charity and worship.

            In conclusion, Bali and Temanggung has a lot differences. Start from climate, scenery, and obvious differences in cultural and activities in daily live. These  cities are beautiful with natural  landscape and tropical climate. There are so many in Bali and Temanggung. It must be interest to be develop in the future.
